Tonkawa Stays True to Its Roots

Located about 100 miles north of Oklahoma City and 75 miles south of Wichita, Kansas, Tonkawa, Oklahoma is home to Northern Oklahoma College’s Tonkawa location. Throughout history, the town has kept that small town feel while adding attractions that honor its history: A.D. Buck Museum of Science and History, Kinzer Performing Arts Center, and the Santa Fe Depot among them.

Agriculture Complex

Students planning to concentrate on agricultural sciences and receive educational preparation to enter the ag industry take coursework at our agriculture complex. These degree programs are exclusive to the Tonkawa location.

Residence Halls

For the full college campus experience, students can apply to live on-campus at one of our residence halls: Bush-Duvall, Boehme, Threlkeld, Easterling, and Mavericks. Residence hall life offers opportunities to make lifelong friends, form study groups, and become part of the NOC community.

Process Technology Building

Another degree program exclusive to Tonkawa, students pursuing an A.A.S. in Engineering and Industrial Technology – Process Technology Option will immerse themselves in courses in this state-of-the-art building.

Memorial Student Union

Inside the Memorial Student Union, NOC students find various amenities to enrich their college experience, including our bookstore, Maverick’s Cafe, Snack Bar, and Walcher Conference Center.

Eleanor Hays Art Gallery

Tucked within the Kinzer Performing Arts Center, the Eleanor Hays Art Gallery features rotating exhibits throughout the year with free admission for students studying art or with a keen appreciation for dynamic visual installations.

Wellness Center

Open 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, our wellness center offers weight machines, a track, and other fitness-friendly resources for students and adults to use to improve their health and wellbeing.
