Application Process for RN Program for Current LPN Applicants

LPN to RN Bridge applicants must meet minimum program requirements for admission:

  • College retention GPA of 2.5 in required courses
  • Grade of C in required core courses
  • Active unencumbered license to practice as an LPN in Oklahoma
  • Attend required Application Orientation

To receive advanced standing credit, LPN to RN Bridge applicants must have completed the following core courses with a grade of C or higher:

  • Biology for Majors (or General Biology)
  • Anatomy & Physiology
  • Introduction to Sociology
  • Introduction to Psychology
  • Transition to Registered Nursing (permission to enroll required)

Steps to Apply

1. Apply to Northern Oklahoma College [Click here to apply to NOC]
2. Send official high school, college, and LPN program transcripts to the NOC Registration Office
3. Attend a required application orientation session [Click here to Schedule]
4. Contact the Nursing Staff Assistant to inquire about Advanced Placement

5. Speak with your advisor to ensure you are ready to apply for the nursing program.
6. SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION and request permission to enroll in Transition to Registered Nursing

Applications accepted on a rolling basis. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

FALL APPLICATIONS ARE DUE MARCH 31

SPRING APPLICATIONS ARE DUE OCTOBER 1
