Cutline: NOC recently held a First Generation Scholarship Fund Raising Campaign for first generation college students. First generation students met with first generation NOC faculty staff.
NOC raises scholarship funds for first generation students
Northern Oklahoma College held a First Generation, First Choice Fund Raising Campaign Nov. 7-8.
The campaign was designed to assist students who are first generation college students.
A total of $9,690 was raised and those funds were matched by a $20,000 donation by an anonymous donor for a total of $29,960 for the campaign.
NOC also celebrated National First-Generation College Day at all three campuses with First Generation students receiving NOC Swag.
